A special purpose machine designed for checking surface and near surface, subsurface cracks and inclusions in High Tension insulator caps and ball pins at the rate of around 6 jobs per minute. With an output of upto 3000 Amps for circular magnetisation and upto 7.5 KAT for longitudinal magnetisation, the machine is suitable for testing components upto 300 mm long, 120 mm dia and 10 kg weight.
The magnetisation process commencing with clamping of the job by compressed air, spraying of magnetic bath on the job, application of magnetisation shot and declamping in fully automatic. The cycle repeats itself automatically so long as the cycle ON switch remains in the ON position. |
In addition to sperate magnetisation in longitudinal and transverse planes, facility has been provided for simultaneous magentisation for detecting cracks in all directions in one operation. A 30 litre magnetic bath tank with circulation and agitation system is provided. Inspection is done under black light. Demagnetisation is carried out on a separate coil type of demagnetiser.

With output upto 1250 Amps. for CIR MAGE 0-5 KAT for LONGT MAG. This machine is with selection facility of CIR/LONGT/COMB facility as well as Auto/Manual facility. With circular and longitudinal magnification facility. Screw testing Rocker arm. Barrel pushrod. Demagnetisation : Demag facility is there for removing magnetisation effect after inspection of cracks.

This type of machine is specially manufactured for mass production crack detection with the help of conveyarised system. A special purpose machine designed for checking surface as well as sub surface cracks in screw and similar types of components, with CIR MAG facility of 1250 Amps.
In this machines three magnetisation stations are provided. The job is conveyerised to magnetisation station, then clamped in to system with horizontal clamping and magnetisation is to be applied and cracks are detected.
